Creating a Safe and Supportive Therapeutic Environment
We believe in a holistic approach to mental health. Combining evidence-based practices with a warm, empathetic environment, we aim to empower our clients to achieve lasting change. Our therapeutic style is integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, and Systemic Therapy to best meet your individual needs.
At PSYTHERA, we believe in providing a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings. Our therapeutic environment is designed to foster trust, confidentiality, and comfort, ensuring you have the support you need to work towards personal growth and well-being. Together, we create a collaborative and empathetic setting where your mental health journey can flourish.
”Petra has gained comprehensive training and experience in a range of psychotherapy methods.
She takes a holistic approach, selecting the most effective techniques tailored to each client’s specific needs.”
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
CBT focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional difficulties. It encourages clients to challenge unhelpful thoughts and replace them with more balanced perspectives.
Through CBT, individuals can develop healthier coping strategies, which can lead to improved emotional well-being and better responses to life’s challenges.
Schema Therapy
Schema Therapy uncovers deep-rooted emotional patterns, or “schemas,” that are often formed during childhood. These schemas can negatively affect how we view ourselves and interact with others.
By understanding and working through these patterns, clients can learn to break free from unhelpful ways of thinking and behaving, fostering healthier relationships and self-perception.
Systemic Therapy
Systemic Therapy examines how a person’s mental health is influenced by their relationships and family dynamics. It helps to identify patterns of interaction that may be contributing to stress or conflict.
By addressing and improving these dynamics, Systemic Therapy encourages more supportive communication and promotes stronger, healthier connections within families or social groups.
